On July 13, 2015, the Angels Flight Friends and Neighbors Society (Angels Flight FANS) launched a petition asking Mayor Eric Garcetti to please cut the red tape and save Angels Flight Railway. Positive Steps

July 20, 2015 – Mayor Garcetti makes a motion to the MTA requesting a report on Angels Flight, including recommendations for resuming operations, to be produced by the CEO by September 23, 2015. (PDF link). The motion passes.
