In our latest podcast for the week of January 28th, 2013, we interview Jerry Blackburn of the Aerospace Legacy Foundation about the demolition last month of the last remaining workshops and assembly rooms from the former Downey Space Plant. These were spaces where the command module for the Apollo missions and the Space Shuttle Challenger were assembled. At the time of the Apollo Mission, the Downey Space Plant housed the largest clean room in the world. Also join us as we talk with Jeff and Richard Ward, 3rd & 4th generation owners, respectively, of E. Waldo Ward, purveyors and manufacturers of fine jams and preserves in Sierra Madre, California for over 100 years. Father and son will talk about how the more things change, the more they stay the same at their 3 and 1/2 acre orchard.
